Overview of Asset Reconciliations Manager role: The Asset Reconciliation Manager will form part of a Management layer within the Asset Reconciliations Team that is responsible for the day to day running of the Reconciliation team within the Operations department. This role reports into the Head of Asset Reconciliations. Team Responsibilities - Are you this person? Resource / Workload; allocate and monitor the progress of team tasks on a daily basis Team Development; responsible for the training & mentoring of team members Ensure the smooth operation of the key controls within the Reconciliation Team Effective Communication; communicate KPIs and team performance to Head of Assets on a regular basis Escalation; ensure all escalations are addressed and passed onto the appropriate staff MI; Assist with collation on MI, identifying trends and communication those to the appropriate staff Client engagement; point of contact for company's clients. Regular attendance of client oversight and Governance meetings Internal governance; attend all required governance and regulatory meetings On-boarding of new business; work with relevant staff to ensure smooth on-boarding of any New Business or Technology developments Strategic enhancements; working with other Management / Head Of to drive forward improvements, change and the Assets reconciliations Team to support a growing business Procedures & Processes; champion procedure and process enhancements to negate future repetition. Ensure procedures are up to date and in line with system enhancements Third Party Liaison; maintain and develop broker, Custodian' and Administrator relationships pertaining to sources of information relevant to fund client administration Record Keeping; maintain records as are required to ensure the investment process is transparent to regulators and external auditors regarding breach and reconciliation recording Information Systems; make effective use of the Company's information systems that are relevant to the role, raise system issues and suggest improvements to negate future repetition CPD; develop professional and technical knowledge and skills via training and development in order to meet Continuing Professional Development requirements Other tasks; to undertake any other projects/ tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the company. Experience Required: ?
