£Competitive Closing date: 20 February 2019 About the role: The PRH Group has recently moved to a Shared Service Centre model, and we are now looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our growing Finance team based in Frating, Colchester. Based at the main distribution centre, you will report into the Financial Accountant to provide key support in this pivotal role.

Responsibilities:
- Supporting the FA with month-end activities, include reporting and balance sheet control. - Liaising with internal & external stakeholders to ensure the integrity of reporting. - Managing certain financial accounts activities to ensure compliance. - Assisting with the completion of Statutory Accounts, filing and group reporting. - Assisting with the delivery of year end, half year and interim audits. - General administrative and financial duties as required. About you: To excel in this role you will be a strong team player who is able to work on their own initiative to complete tasks to a consistently high level. You will have a structured and disciplined approach to managing and organising your own workload, and will relish the opportunity to learn new skills and competencies. Ideally you will possess strong IT and systems skills and will be a fast and determined learner. You will be a confident and natural communicator who isn't afraid to ask questions and speak to people at all levels of the business. You may have experience of the following: Assistant Accountant, Financial Analyst, Junior Accountant, Accounting, Junior Finance Analyst, etc.
