The firm are looking to appoint an ambitious and hardworking candidate who is looking to advance their career in accountancy. The role will cover the areas of accounts, audit and tax and will therefore provide you with the opportunity to develop your technical ability. The ideal candidate will have gained at least 1 years' experience within practice and be studying towards or AAT qualified. The firm will also consider a high calibre accountancy graduate with practice experience. The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary plus study support for ACCA and a thriving working environment. The Trainee Accountant will be responsible for:
• Accounts preparation on behalf of a range of clients
• Assisting on audit assignments
• Liaising with clients regarding any queries and in respect of accounting and audit matter
• Tailoring audit programmes to suit clients individual needs
• Preparing client Corporation Tax Computation and online filing
• Managing client relationships and identifying opportunities Essential Requirements are:
• Studying towards AAT or qualified /a graduate in a relevant degree
• Minimum of 6 months - 1 years' experience in practice
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to manage and prioritise a number of different of assignments at any one time
