A leading specialty insurer are looking to recruit an experienced qualified finance professional to take on a leading role in its reporting team based in London. The company boasts a market leading reputation and are based in fantastic offices in a London landmark.
Your new role
You will be leading a team of 3 within the business unit providing leadership and direction for your direct reports. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of the monthly close process, particularly the Syndicate entities
- Process improvement and development
- Maintenance of high standards to all relevant regulatory requirements
- Business partnering with actuaries and other finance professionals within the group including Expense Management, Treasury, Accounts Payable and Tax Teams
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant with both technical and non-technical insurance accounting experience. You will need to have proven experience developing and improving processes and financial controls with US reporting experience highly beneficial. You will need to be an accomplished people manager and have the drive and desire to interact with multiple stakeholders across the business.
