Job Description This position is responsible for performing audits as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit either independently or as part of a team. Gather and analyze data as necessary to accomplish audit objectives in a timely manner. Develop and foster positive working relationships focusing on the identification of solutions to significant audit risk issues. Clearly communicate issues and pursue effective and timely resolution. Gain an increasing understanding of the organization, systems and processes, policies and procedures, accounting guidelines, and personnel. Key

Responsibilities:

• Conducts and/or assists in the execution of audit engagements in the Annual Internal Audit Plan to evaluate and assess design adequacy and operating effectiveness of internal controls
• Identifying and documenting issues from audit testing and developing recommendations to address control deficiencies and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operating procedures
• Maintaining audit documents in an orderly and secure manner
• Assembling and preparing audit work papers for review by Internal Audit Senior Manager
• Assists in the preparation of the internal audit monthly/bi-monthly information packs Qualifications
• At least 2 years of auditing experience
• Knowledge of financial service industry preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Must have strong interpersonal/communication skills
• Must be self-motivated, with the ability to self-organise
