Financial Accountant - £50,000 - £55,000 - Maidenhead, Berkshire Wade Macdonald is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join the fastest growing IT company in the UK. Our client has grown an impressive 40% year on year and due to continued growth they are looking to add a dynamic Financial Accountant with the potential to progress to Finance Manager within 12 months. Working with the existing team and at times for the FD and CFO directly, the Financial Accountant will be expected to take ownership of the more technical accounting areas of the business (revenue recognition/share based pay/consolidation and FX). This person will be expected to be involved in preparing the financial statements and monthly accounts and will be a key contact for our external advisors. Forecasting and budgeting will play a key part of this role, working with the wider business to understand how it is growing and the implications on the company numbers. It is important that this individual has a get up and go attitude, is willing to get out there and investigate and can communicate effectively with a wide range of people, from sales level up to Director level. The successful Financial Accountant will be a qualified (ACA OR ACCA) Accountant. Ideally from a practice background (top 10) looking for their first step into industry. You will have experience working with IFRS and investigating technical questions and show a drive to succeed and progress.
