We are working exclusively on a fantastic opportunity to join a highly profitable and growing large organisation. The successful applicant will join this organisation at an exciting time as with growth in recent years they are now expanding the FP&A team to ensure this continues for many years to come. The role is on an intial 6 months contract leading to a permament position for the right individual. This role will be instrumental in implementing its objectives and in turn shaping the future of this innovative and expanding business. Working closely with the Head of FP&A, the focus of the role is on analytics and reporting .You will give key support to the business teams and Group Finance in ensuring they have the highest quality analytics for decision making while providing advice, influence and challenge on the decisions that drive the group's strategic vision. This role will suit a high calibre individual with the ambition and determination to help drive the long-term growth of this leading organisation, as is likley to become permanent for the right candidate. The individual will flourish in a working environment which provides the ideal setting to develop personally and professionally. Key responsibilities of the FP&A Analyst job will include: - Working alongside the Group Finance Reporting team to produce the monthly finance reports for the Group board - Assisting the Head of FP&A in coordinating the annual business planning process, including the quarterly measurement of progress against the Group's strategic plan - Production of the Group's quarterly dashboard measuring divisional performance against financial and non-financial KPI - Drive the on-going maintenance and development of the Group's project database, including the analysis of standing, historic and forecast data to provide insight on BU performance - Assist the wider Group Finance team in delivering analysis required for the production of the Group's Annual Report and Accounts The ideal FP&A Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills: - Degree Calibre - Newly qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA - Strong planning and organising skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines - Demonstrated capability with MS Excel is essential for business financial modelling. - Strong analytical, numerical and IT skills (Oracle HFM and Hyperion Planning). - Possess excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for building relationships across all levels of an organisation and challenge business managers beyond finance on their assumptions.
