A well established group of companies in Grimsby are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support with the management and financial accounts preparation for three sites in Scunthorpe and Grimsby. This is a profitable business that has a passion for what they do. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of monthly accounts for two divisions. Duties will include journals, accruals & prepayments, fixed asset register, nominal, WIP and stock reconciliations, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, payroll and intercompany accounts. The right person will be AAT qualified as a minimum or actively studying early to mid-stages CIMA/ACCA. You will have good foundations in an all round accounts role covering some of the above duties and also be looking for a role and company you can grow within. You will have good excel skills to produce various management information reports for external parties to tight deadlines.
