Responsibilities:
Responsible for the delivery of the Investment Business Development team's objectives and targets; Develop and grow productive, business generating relationships in the target market. Demonstrate clear and comprehensive investment understanding and knowledge; Raise brand profile and reputation in the target markets and act as an ambassador to lead this effort; Attend investment meetings in order to keep investment knowledge current, with both internal and external experts Build strong and trusted relationships between the Investment Business Development team and the Investment Management teams; Direct and support the Business Development Directors in key business development initiatives including the development of strategy and attendance at business development meetings and presentations as required; Develop, refine and improve RFPs to increase the success rate at this stage of the process; Work with the CIO to distribute RFPs equitably and appropriately; Attend investment team monthly meetings in representation of central Business Development to ensure ongoing communication and to share market intelligence. Qualifications, & Experience: Excellent knowledge of wealth management in the Investment Consultants, Trustees and Charities markets, both onshore and offshore. Have a strong network of relationships already developed and a proven track record of attracting assets in this intermediary space. Experience of managing, developing and getting the best out of people. Good knowledge of IHT, Pension and Personal Taxation and have an understanding of tax structures such as Offshore Bonds, SIPPs, ISAs, and Trusts. Experience working within the intermediated investment market place, with an emphasis on segregated fund management: Strong presentational skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; High energy with good initiative and problem solving skills; High levels of integrity and professionalism; CF30 registered Qualified to level 6 RDR compliant or investment equivalent.
