Group Finance Analyst Manchester Airport Salary up to £32,000 (dependent upon experience) annual bonus pension flexible benefits MAG (Manchester Airports Group) are actively seeking a FP&A Analyst to join the Group Finance function, based at Manchester Airport. The main purposes of this role are supporting the Head of FP&A and Group Senior Analyst, to provide insight and challenge to Group Divisions by delivering high quality analysis and reporting. Facilitating the Group in forecasting and business planning processes, allowing the Divisional teams to focus on engaging the business. The Role: High quality analysis: produce high quality analysis that provides valuable insight for customers across the Group. Monthly and quarterly reporting: deliver key financial information to customers within the Group. Business planning (annual): support the co-ordination of the Group business plan New reporting: consider ways in which new or additional analysis can provide valuable insight for customers and propose formats for new standardised reporting. Deep understanding of the business: develop a deep understanding of the Group. Adding value: provide insight and challenge to Divisions, including detailed assessments of cross-divisional performance and external benchmarking. Continuous improvement: contribute to a process and culture of continuous improvement, with specific focus on automating and standardising reporting outputs, and ongoing development of modelling and analytical capability. You: A part qualified or qualified accountant Experience delivering high quality financial analysis, and an ability to communicate findings and opinions in writing or through presentations to senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel. Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations. Self-motivated individual with effective organisational skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint Possess strong analytical reasoning skills to think problems thoroughly and generate solutions. Pro-active individual with a passion for analysis and a strong desire to develop their knowledge across all areas of the business Ability to understand appropriate financial risk and controls processes within the FP&A environment Experience working with financial systems, such as SAP or Oracle would be advantageous What we offer: We are offering a competitive salary of up to £32k (dependent upon experience), plus study package, pension, bonus, free parking and benefits package.
