Marks Sattin are looking for a Commercial Accountant who is wanting to step into a Business Partnering focussed position based at a manufacturing site in Hull. The main duties of the role will be to grow and develop the business through teaming up with other areas of the business to maximise revenue. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager and supporting the other business functions providing and interpreting clear performance data and analysis. Performance analysis to support and inform pricing decisions and proposition Understand and translate data for sales and margin performance to help inform management of performance issues Proactively provide timely, insightful, actionable and accurate financial analysis Supply month end information to support the results for sales and marketing activity Support wider business stakeholders in understanding linkage to Operations Support the commercial finance and wider finance team with key projects, reporting and administration Own budget and forecast inputs Translate business requirements into reporting requirements enhancing clear requirements If you are ambitious, driven and commercially minded then this role offers exceptional development and exposure to not only the finance function but the overall view of a business and its workings.
