We are presently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the finance department of a great company based in Slough. Duties and

Responsibilities:
Monthly ROFO reporting framework modelling, database setup, testing and reconciliation in excel Monthly Financial reporting framework modelling, database setup, testing and reconciliation in excel Database modelling to automate the financial and HR (incl. HC and payroll) reference analysis to generate user-friendly filters to review monthly and year-to-date performance against budget MTP - Medium Term Plan (5 years) - create a simplified version of group MTP for internal reviews. Facilitate update of all elements of MTP with reference to set of variables and their changes. BUDGET - facilitate actual YTD and YTG ROFO rolling dataset update and create a link between set of variables and budget 2020 to generate budget as automatically as possible with good audit trail of the changes. Analyse by month and YTD and implement user-friendly improvement action plan follow-up road map file for the following, in comparison with prior year, budget and ROFO, as applicable. Sales and contribution margin Direct costs - material, inventory obsolescence, inventory write-off, labour efficiency & rate, landing and warranty costs etc., Factory costs - Operations, Quality Assurance and Purchasing Research, Technology, Development and Industrialisation Indirect cost drivers - Sales & Marketing and General and Administrative overheads Monthly Gross inventory and Accounts Receivables aging follow-up with action plans to meet group and division targets Monthly and YTD CAPEX follow-up with clear analysis of future amortisation impact and ROI impact in P&L. Identify and drive improvement actions for low margin products / product families Identify Risks & Opportunities in budget and ROFO and implement action plan to mitigate and capitalise on R&O respectively Identify operational efficiency/productivity improvements at all sites to implement and drive the action plan with cross functional collaboration Prepare and present monthly and YTD financial and operational performance dashboard to BU CODIR - clearly highlighting and driving the actions required to deliver ROFO (rolling forecast) with 98% accuracy. Coordinate, Prepare and present the following to BU management : P&L, Balance Sheet and FCF statement of Forecast, Budget and Medium Term Plan (5years) Coordinate and collaborate with operations and other cross functions to drive productivity improvements with strong team spirit. Participate in BU and RU management, product line and operations meetings and provide clear and easy to understand guidance as and when required. Ensure full compliance to group standards and applicable accounting standards Follow-up foreign exchange impact on business Candidate must have: Strong FP&A background Strong excel skills Proven track record in complex excel based financial modelling and testing Master's degree in finance or equivalent accounting qualification Proficient PowerPoint skills Professional skills By applying you will be registered as a candidate with Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment Limited.
