The Role Chasing invoices that are overdue by telephone, e-mail and letter To ensure that invoiced charges are collected within extended credit terms whilst limiting the company's exposure to bad debt. To supervise the day-to-day running of the business Trades Credit Control function Identifying and dealing with queries by liaising with internal departments and customers to resolve effectively Reconcile customer's accounts on a monthly basis To assist with all areas of cash allocation Work to Month End reporting into the Finance Manager Experience The successful Credit Control MUST have the following Previous credit control experience Excellent customer service and key account handling ability Excellent written and oral communication skills Confidence in discussing overdue payments with customers Enthusiastic team player Able to work independently Easily adaptable and strong to working with systems Daily follow up with customers to ensure prompt settlement of invoices in accordance with set terms Processing of invoice/account queries to facilitate above Daily receiving of payments, allocating necessary information, which facilitates prompt allocation of cash What's on Offer The successful candidate will join a busy, fast paced environment and a Finance team who will appreciate your immediate support, once settled you will enjoy taking on more responsibility exposing you to more varied accounts.
