Vitality, Market Pricing Analyst, Bournemouth, £Competitive Bonus Benefits Vitality is an award winning, dynamic and vibrant financial services provider, with a ground-breaking vision for the future, where individuals are enabled to succeed and are rewarded and recognised for their contribution to our business As our Market Pricing Analyst you get the benefits our members enjoy, including: - Bonus - Our award winning private medical insurance - A comprehensive flexible benefits scheme - Stakeholder Pension Plan with employer contribution - Vitality Partners and Rewards As our Market Pricing Analyst you will deliver the market pricing strategy to ensure Vitality Health is at the forefront of the market resulting in achievement of volume and value objectives What you will be doing as our Market Pricing Analyst: - Delivers the market pricing strategy/approach to significantly enhance the profitability of the portfolio - Works closely with the technical pricing and pricing implementation teams to enhance market pricing models using cutting edge statistical modelling techniques and pricing models, refreshing analyses at agreed intervals - Works closely with the Data Science team to embed insights from our wider functions into our pricing, including insights from Clinical Risk, Vitality and Expenses and external datasets - Delivers enhancements to our pricing capability through the implementation of new rating factors and micro segmentation - Develops commercial pricing strategies to improve sales and retention business performance whilst maintaining profitability levels and hitting the business plan metrics, and produces MI to monitor the key metrics associated with such strategies, and provides insights into trends - Enhances the customer lifetime value model and embeds in the business, working closely with the technical pricing team - Improves demand modelling, including the wider use of internal and external data, refreshing analyses at agreed intervals - Presents insight to key stakeholders - Builds relationships with all departments to share best practice and enhance VitalityHealth analytical capability whilst building the profile of the pricing team What we're looking for in our Market Pricing Analyst: Essential - Degree in mathematical/statistics based subject - Excellent verbal communication skills - Strong ability to analyse problems and develop structured solutions - Full IT literacy including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
