The team work across the full spectrum of Amey sectors and contracts which make for a challenging and varied environment. What will this role involve? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part qualified Management Accountant to join the team. This position will give the successful candidate a breadth of exposure across Finance and wider Amey business. This role will support Finance Manager with daily, monthly and year end duties. This is a varied and challenging position where you will support the Budget and Forecast processes as well as ad-hoc projects. A key focus for this position will include the production of management accounts, BPC reporting as well as a lot of SAP data interrogating as well as balance sheet reconciliations. You will also be offered support to achieve your finance qualification. What are we looking for? Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA) Experience gained within a Management Accounting/Financial Accounting role Strong IT Skills, intermediate level Excel and competent using a Finance package - SAP preferred Good knowledge of accounting practices Experience of budgeting and forecasting Profit centre reporting and variance analysis experience Ability to work independently and prioritise and organise your own schedule Additional Information Fundamental to living our core values is having great people in our business.
