Our client based at Heathrow is looking for a Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Group pricing strategy and compiling quotes and transactional bids with a focus on remaining competitive within the market, whilst ensuring maximum profitability for the company. Duties & Responsibilities
• Be the guarantor of tariff policy and data accurateness
• Participate in the completion of RFQ s
• Compile competitive pricing to support sales and commercial request for pricing
• Ensure our offer competitiveness in being the focal point for staff price queries/notifications
• Prepare and issue quotations upon customer/internal stakeholder request Profile To fulfil this role, we are looking for a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and good mathematical & data processing skills. He / she will enjoy dealing with logistics subject matter, in the life science industry environment. The candidate should be highly organised, diligent & hard working and be able to work as a part of a proactive team. He / she should feel comfortable working within a matrix organisation.
• Engineering degree ideally completed by a master in business - Preferred but not essential
• Fluency in English.
• Previous experience in pricing management would be appreciated.
• Self motivated & able to work individually & as part of a team.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Must be accurate & organised.
• Must be able to liaise with & obtain information from colleagues.
• A good understanding of life science logistics.
• Excellent mathematical ability.
• Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel & the ability to learn new software.
• The ability to objectively analyse information provided to them and interrogate further when required.
