Reed Finance is working closely with a large client in south Belfast in their appointment of a Temporary Finance Manager (Systems). This requirement is for 12 months with a possible extension. The post-holder will support and assist in the provision and analysis of financial information and in the continuous development of core financial systems including supporting processes and financial controls, to ensure that group financial services are fit for purpose, in line with best practice across the sector and compliant with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. The post-holder will support and assist the Financial Controller in the provision and analysis of financial and related data, and in the continuous development of core financial systems, including supporting processes and financial controls, to enhance system performance and service levels. The post-holder will also provide technical support and training/coaching as required to the finance team and other system users across the wider business. Key areas of responsibility include: Leadership & Management; Establishing Best Practice; Financial Reporting & Analysis Systems Development; Compliance; A full job description is available upon request Essential Criteria: Current member of a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent); IT literate with practical experience of having operated integrated IT based financial systems and proficiency in use of MS Office; Demonstrable experience of implementing financial systems; Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office to include experience of producing complex spreadsheets; Previous experience at supervisory or managerial level; Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle to fulfil the mobility aspect of the role.
