My client, a large service provider in the Stockport area, is looking for a Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working within a large, dynamic finance team where you will produce full management accounts, prepare year end and also half year group reporting packs to Senior Management. You will have extensive experience of producing accurate and timely accounts to be considered for this position. Your main duties will include but are not limited to; You will ideally be able to work to an Excel Advanced level and be able to handle large amounts of data. You will need great attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced and demanding environment. Production of Management Accounts, Reports and other financial information Analyse Management Accounts to budget/forecast and provide commentaries. Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled to supporting documentary evidence with any variances investigated. Attendance at management meetings Provide business support and assistance to client company management teams in respect of detailed financial information Working with the client company commercial team to gain commercial awareness of the client company business and to provide support and input to decision making. Prepare year-end and half year reporting packs, support auditing, and to support financial controller as required with the production of statutory accounts. Prepare year-end tax pack in accordance to Tax Department guidelines You will ideally be qualified in ACCA/CIMA/ACA to be considered for this position.
