European Credit Risk Manager £50,000 - £60,000 London / Working from home A global logistics company is currently looking for a highly experienced credit risk professional to join its team, taking on primary responsibility for the credit risk assessment of the company's European new and existing customers. Reporting into the Credit Director, you will become part of the OTC leadership team who are responsible for driving continuous process and performance improvements. This includes the way credit risk is managed and seen across the business. Duties and

Responsibilities:
Extending credit to maximise sales whilst minimising the risk of doubtful and bad debt Maintaining excellent working relationships with both internal and external customers Assessing risk and extending credit to specific large customers (new and existing) Remotely lead and support local resources who are responsible for local assessment and assignment of credit limits and risk categories Setting targets and monitoring KPIs against SLAs, providing development within the team as necessary Chairing meetings to review credit exposure Maintaining and monitoring the group's credit risk Providing customer credit risk insight and recommendations Responsible for the credit risk process re-engineering and continuous improvement Experience/Skills Required: Proven commercial credit risk management experience, ideally within a large international B2B organisation Previous experience in a leadership/management role Excellent working knowledge of interpreting customer accounts (balance sheet and profit & loss accounts) Advanced Excel Experience of SAP and/or Oracle advantageous Ability to set priorities within a fast paced environment Excellent communication skills Positively influence others to achieve results Excellent problem solving skills If you are interested in this vacancy please contact CWC Recruitment Ltd.
