A reputable business based on the outskirts of Cambridge are recruiting for a Finance Manager to start with them as soon as possible, this position will be on a temporary to permanent basis. You will report directly into the Managing Director and will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department, you will have 1 direct report in credit control. The main duties of this position are as follows - - Cash Flow monitoring - Reconciliation of quarterly balance sheet accounts - Ownership of the quarterly/year end processes - Reporting of quarterly financial information - Development and management of budget preparation - Attend and prepare financial reports for quarterly management meetings - Report on weekly sales revenue performance vs budget - Accurate processing of ledger accounts - Maintenance of non current fixed assets You will be working as a key member of the management team and will be required to contribute to all of the main company decisions relating to the financial performance of the business.
