Investigo have been exclusively engaged by a well known Milton Keynes based Private Equity backed organisation to support their recruitment of a Finance Assistant, on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Management Accounts Controller, the role focuses on the inventory administration within the finance department, and is responsible for the waste packaging reporting to external authorities. The following are the main responsibilities of the role, but ad-hoc requirements may also arise. Inventory: Setting up assembly orders and item cards Check the financial set up on order summaries is accurate Stock journals Maintaining and reviewing stock listings Reconciliation of stocks held at supplier locations Stock obsolescence and write-offs Ensure transfer of inventory meets Intrastat Reporting requirements Waste Packaging: Maintaining records throughout the year Annual reporting to respective authorities in the different markets Other duties: Assist in checking costing calculations Checking ad-hoc finance documents Assist in maintenance of sales ledger for international customers when required The successful Candidate will have varied transactional accounting experience, and strong attention to detail and experience of working to tight deadlines are essential. The key system used within the role are Navision, training will be provided. Strong excel skills are necessary. Our Client is offering a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 Benefits, depending on experience.
