Due to internal promotion a rare opportunity has arisen within a prestigious Lancashire based business for a Group Accountant. This is a pivotal role within the finance function and due to the nature of the role offers good levels of exposure to senior executives and external advisors. The remit of the role is broad, but specific responsibilities will include: Statutory reporting for a number of UK group entities Handling accounting and system related issues relating from acquisitions (acquisitive group) Supporting the Group external and internal reporting requirements and compliance You will also be given the opportunity to get involved in ad hoc project work as the finance function develops. To be considered for this opportunity, you should be ACA/ACCA qualified with good knowledge of accounting principles and a logical, relevant work history to date. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
