BTG Accountancy & Finance are working with a highly acquisitive, rapidly growing Leicester based start up firm. My client is looking for an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant who is looking to take their 2nd/3rd move from practice who wants the opportunity to combine financial reporting, commercial analysis and team management. Experience in an MBO would be appealing to my client, with an MBO on the horizon in 2/3 years down the line, this could be your meal ticket should you want to get into the PE circuit. Position: Senior Financial Accountant Salary & Benefits: £50,000 This position reports into a passionate commercially focused Group Finance Director, the business is an exciting start up who have been in business a 3 years, having recently secured record breaking contracts for the next 2 years its time to add this newly created accountant to help the next phase of growth. You'll oversea a small team of ledger staff so being a people person is key, where you'll add value on a day to day basis is by adding in depth analysis of business performance, you'll be counted on by the Group FD and Directors to present in board meetings. As the business evolves, the next step is into a Group Financial Controller role where you will take a ownership of all day to day finances. Key aspects to the role will include: Delivery of Ad-hoc Analysis for the Group Finance Director / Directors Commercial Analysis and delivery of data to the Board Consolidations of statutory accounts VAT reporting to HMRC Cashflow forecasting System implementation / process improvement projects This role is ideally suited to an ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant who has a taste of industry and wants to now add value in a strategic sense.
