I am currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Controller to join a large business on The Wirral. Working closely with Head of Finance you will be joining at an exciting time with an opportunity to make this role your own. Responsibilities and duties: Managing and maintain the Ledger including clearance of ageing items Supplier management including dealing with queries, statement reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies with the supplier Processing of Purchase Invoices and matching Goods Receipts Notes to Invoices Allocation of payments against invoices on supplier accounts Run and check weekly payment run Ensure invoices are approved on time to meet established payment cycle Process implementation and improvement whilst continually striving for new methods of working to ensure operational excellence and customer support Ensure a consistent approach is provided across all areas of the business to deliver and measure performance Assist in the achievement of EBIT and cash flow by managing efficiencies Qualifications & Experience: High degree of personal motivation and a determination to succeed. High level of Attention to Detail Demonstrable experience of process implementation and improvement Navision experience would be beneficial Financial & Commercial Awareness Change Management experience would be beneficial
