Change Recruitment have an excellent new opportunity to recruit a Fund Controller that will partner with investors and work closely with third parties i.e. Administrators, Legal teams and Auditors - the role is based in Edinburgh. This is an exciting long term contract role that will join an experienced team as they continue with an exciting period of growth, together with key projects that will impact on the team throughout 2019. You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally will experience or knowledge of fund control activity, financial statement preparation, providing oversight and detailed analysis. Core responsibilities include: - Fund and direct investment valuations - New Fund launches - Complex reconciliations - FX gains/losses; income; investment gains/losses; cash balances etc - Statutory and annual account preparation - IFRS consolidation - Treasury management - Actively involved in continuous process improvement - Project involvement This role offers an excellent chance to join a growing and highly successful financial service organisation, there will also be an option to convert to permanent or be extended further.
