You may not have heard of us, be we'd like to know more about you. telent have two Finance Apprenticeship positions available, starting in September 2019. This is a two year apprenticeship. By the end of the programme you'll gain a good understanding of the basics in all areas of Finance within telent. On successful completion of your Level three assistant accountant apprenticeship you'll continue to work as one of our finance team. In the future there may be opportunities to continue your accountancy studies up to Masters' degree level including CIMA or ACCA. Typical Deliverables Over the two years you can expect to experience web-based learning, shadow colleagues and classroom training courses with our training partner, Kaplan. You will provide support to internal departments and external telent customers. You will spend time in placements within our Central Finance team - learning about cash, customer and supplier transactions and basic bookkeeping - followed by placements in one of our four businesses, learning about management accounts, budgeting, cash control and forecasting. You'll get the opportunity to make a real impact and be given real responsibilities, spending 80% of your time working as part of our accountancy team. You will also be given 20% of your time at work to learn off-the-job. This will include studying towards AAT qualification and an opportunity to advance your knowledge of accounting systems and Excel. Qualification Requirements 2 A levels (Studying or completed) minimum grades 2 Cs (Maths or accounting would be ideal) 5 GCSEs above a grade C, including Maths and English above a grade B (or 5).
