• Experience of dealing with management of a large number of customer accounts - over 400
• 2 - 3 years' experience of Credit Control procedures and experience
• Excellent communication skills with the skills and experience to handle awkward and slow paying customers
• Formal credit control/finance related qualification desirable
• High degree of computer literacy, with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as use own initiative
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make logical decisions

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile all monies and allocate to customer accounts
• Liaise with customers and ensure all appropriate steps are taken to assist the collection of all outstanding monies are received within the required credit terms
• Deal with any account queries
• Allocate cash and ensure that bank payments are reconciled with postings to customer accounts on a daily and monthly basis
• Update daily cash reconciliation and reconcile
• Manage and ensure credits are issued and authorised
• Perform credit checks on new and existing clients
• Assist with general administration
