Duties and responsibilities of the job include: Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledger journals. Using Sage 50 professional and sage payroll or with Xero Calculating and checking to a high level of accuracy Petty cash transactions. Controlling credit and chasing debt. Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits. Collating and billing time-sheets. Recording costs in a Sage based job costing system and reporting those costs to directors/me. Ideally candidates need to have minimum of 5 GCSE's including maths and English, be confident on the phone and in front of people minimum AAT qualified (Desirable level 3 or 4). Some practical experience in engineering/contracting is preferable
