Our Worksop based client is looking to recruit an interim Assistant Accountant for a period of 6 months commencing January 2019. They need someone who can commit to a 6 month contract and be able to work full time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week). Therefore if you are applying for this role, please make sure you are able to work to these timescales. The role will see you utilising mainly your reconciliation skills but depending on your capabilities, you may well be asked to get involved in other finance duties as well so its important you're someone who is happy to muck in where necessary. The business operates at 100 miles an hour so experience of working at pace and to tight deadlines is a must Key duties: Intercompany reconciliations Balance sheet reconciliations Bank reconciliations Working on multiple ERP systems Liaising with other finance colleagues regards missing/outstanding information and data Helping to resolve outstanding queries Who would suit this role? The client is open to considering people who are operating at a similar level currently in their career and who will be able to pick the duties up quickly. They will also be keen to speak to people who have maybe operated at a more senior level within finance previously but for whatever reason would be comfortable with a role like this for a fixed term. Ideally you will have worked with ERP systems before (SAP, Oracle, Sage for example).
