Our client in the Maidstone area are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join a small highly driven, self motivated team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of accounts payable and sales ledger, ensure payments are being received and allocated, update cash flow forecast, bank and month end reconciliations, completion of VAT returns and liaising with Managers across the group. The ideal person will have a solid background in double entry accounting and month end procedures, a true team player and fist rate communication skills.
