Personal Loans is key growth product for the Bank and its brand partners - the AA and Post Office. Following a highly successful market expansion the product is now embarking on the next phase of growth and is seeking a commercially astute pricing professional to lead a small, but highly focussed, across pricing and commercial analytics. This is an ideal role for an established pricing expert who is looking for greater accountability and the opportunity to define and lead the evolution of Bank of Ireland UK (BOIUK) Loans pricing strategies. Key Accountabilities Accountable for the delivery of risk adjusted margin in the Loans P&L Lead a team of two to deliver pricing strategies across multiple product portfolios to achieve BOI commercial objectives Ensure all pricing strategies are subject to close monitoring and reporting standards and subject to constant optimisation and innovation. Define and deliver next generation pricing strategies, testing new methodologies and technical approaches Ensure continuous commercial insights into acquisition and book performance are delivered with a key focus on driving results and constant improvement. Own pricing and commercial governance Represent Loans team in various senior internal and external meetings Act at leadership level to maintain effective relationship with internal and external partners including the brand partners, credit risk, finance, compliance, and legal. Ensure pricing performance is compliant with relevant legislation and identify upcoming issues and lead developing remedies Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in a pricing, financial modelling or analytical role Experience of commercial or pricing models and applying in a business setting Experience of using customer and analytical insight to drive commercial strategies Understanding of the market and commercial components of consumer lending products Strong stakeholder management Proven ability to create and sustain positive relationships with ability to manage teams/people outside of direct control.
