On behalf of a Global Business in Knutsford, Simpson Judge are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Management Accountant. The Role: The role offers you the chance to support the Management Accountant in managing the financial activities with responsibility for preparation of all the group company management accounts. Duties: Day-to-day operations of the finance team including journals, sales ledger and invoicing, purchase ledger and payments Preparation of all companies' management accounts VAT returns Credit control Payroll submissions Bank and other balance sheet reconciliations Ensure all day to day accounting functions are managed Prepare inter-company invoices and manage inter-company accounts Liaison with, and line responsibility for, accounting support at overseas entities Companies House returns Skills/Qualifications: CIMA/ACCA part-qualified, finalist or AAT qualified Prior experience in a professional services/consultancy services environment Minimum of three years' management accounting experience including Trial Balance and full management accounts preparation with variance analysis Understand double entry bookkeeping and balance sheet reconciliations Experience in dealing with foreign currency IT Literate - (SAGE, Excel, Word) Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Strong reporting skills Ability to prioritise and organise workload Excellent attention to detail Experience of working to tight deadlines Flexible attitude to work, both proactive and reactive Analytical skills
