CMA Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Basingstoke based client on a temporary basis. This is a busy all round role, reporting to the Management Accountant and supporting with the day to day running of the accounts department and payroll, ensuring effective, accurate and timely processing of financial information. Key areas of responsibility will include: Processing supplier invoice and payment runs across the operational business; Reconciliation of supplier statements; Credit control; Reconciliation of key accounts and bank reconciliations; Processing of direct debits and setting up new contracts; Supporting with payroll and other ad hoc duties. The successful candidate will be available at short notice and be able to demonstrate strong accounting experience in a similar role and ideally have payroll experience. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential alongside solid IT skills and an intermediate level of Excel.
