Responsibilities:
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities ensure compliance with ethical, environmental and regulatory standards To manage the compliance of all products (Electrical and Non-Electrical) on a global basis Be the company expert with regards to all compliance issues Report risks, legislation changes and status updates to management. Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance Develop and update processes and procedures Provide advice on new and existing products to ensure that products are designed within applicable safety standards Update compliance test reports Conduct periodic internal reviews and audits Maintain documentation of compliance activities Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies or procedures Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews. Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes on organisational structure. Qualifications/Experience of the Compliance Manager: Relevant experience in a senior compliance management role (electrical & non electrical consumer products) Knowledge of IEC electrical safety standards and administration of testing, preferably in the area of hair care or consumer electronics.
