Our client, a global business with its head office in London, is currently looking for a newly Qualified ACA candidate for a Commercial Accountant role. This role is initially a contract role for 18-24 months. This position is reporting into the Finance Director of the largest business unit and will be responsible for assisting in the provision of strategic and operational financial management to the International UK based business. Our client is looking for an ACA Qualified candidate who can be coming directly from practice or someone who has some post-qualification industry experience and the role will pay between £45k and £50k plus comprehensive benefits. The main responsibilities are: Build and manage relationships with project commercial managers in each sector of responsibility Act as a true finance business partner to various Directors in the business Monthly forecasting and analysis comparing to budget/prior month forecast Monthly cash flow reporting and forecasting Working alongside the Commercial Director for each sector to close out month-end reporting and produce the monthly financial reporting packs Sector resource reporting and project/staff data control Supporting the business units and commercial directors as required, for any accounting adjustments/ad-hoc analysis work Candidates must have/be: ACA Qualified with excellent academic background Personality and drive to help develop and rapidly growing area of the business Strong systems, excel, reporting and analysis experience and the ability to use own initiative This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate that matches the above skill-set to working in a high profile business, role and business unit with lots of opportunities to grow and develop.
