My client is an established family ran business, based in North West London. Due to expansion they are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team. Overall scope of the job: As an Accounts Assistant you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Accounts department in order to ensure that it is run efficiently and effectively. Principle responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant: Purchase Ledger and Credit Control duties. Assisting with banking and supplier payment runs. Filing banks advice's and remittances received from clients. Profit and Loss Forecasting. Undertaking general administration duties to support the department. Experience and Knowledge: Appropriate qualification or experience - professional qualification such as AAT desirable but not essential. Has experience in using SAGE software. 2 years' experience within an accounting environment or equivalent. Has good mathematical skills as well as an analytical mind. Has a good understanding of the purchase ledger and credit control functions. Is able to prioritise and has a proven track record of effective time management. Has good attention to detail.
