Audit Senior / Shrewsbury / £28,000 - £36,000 neg The Company My client a leading multi-partner, regional firm of Chartered Accountants who are going through a period of evolution, seek to recruit experienced Audit Seniors (part or newly qualified.). You will be joining a progressive people focused firm, who seek to continue to grow and have identified various new markets / areas to expand into. The Opportunity Depending on your level you will manage an allocated client portfolio ensuring that all quality and budgetary expectations are met. Undertake all aspects of delivering client audit assignments Complete the planning of audit assignments to include the drafting of work programmes and appropriate time budgets Produce service plans for Manager and/or Partner approval Co-ordinate activity at client premises and communicate with the client and/or Manager issues raised through the audit process Execute audit projects in high risk areas Meet reporting timetables and prepare key client reporting documents Review work undertaken by junior staff and highlight points for review Finalise all areas of an audit for Manager and Partner review, seeking input for areas of concern and judgment. Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations Attend client meetings, as requested Complete ad-hoc client assignments as requested by a Manager and/or Partner Manage an allocated client portfolio Carry out the initial audit planning meeting agreeing the timetable of activity Benefits to include - 25 days plus stats and your birthday holiday allowance, sabbatical / long service awards from 5 years, pension, paid overtime (up to manager level,) medical insurance plan, income protection plan, sick pay and great opportunities for career development internally.
