A new opportunity is available for a Financial Planning Support to join their large team in Stockport. Reporting into a truly inspirational and supportive Manager this is a FANTASTIC opportunity for someone who is looking to join a professional and credible firm. Both experience and personality are equally as important for this company. We are keen to hear from those who have obtained a good background working as an Administrator within the industry, alongside those who show passion, commitment, and very strong client care skills. You will take pride in your output of work, whilst showing excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Responsibilities Carrying out pre-meeting client research, including appraisal of fund holdings, applying basic knowledge of the tax efficiency of products held, Income Drawdown housekeeping check, oversight of possible capital gains (for CGT calculations), updating client management information Check all compliance paperwork is present and complete Identify possible areas for planning to assist the adviser, for example unused ISA allowances, Ensure client objectives have been clearly documented by the adviser Ensure risk profile has been clearly assessed and documented by the adviser Responsible for issuing adviser meeting notes to the client, ensuring that meeting action points are seen through to completion in a timely manner Provide product technical support (within role remit), and knowledge of products/providers to financial advisers to assist them with any day to day client queries Main facilitator in dealing with a range of client requests, including withdrawal requests, income adjustments, prompting fund switch suggestions for the advisers consideration (to align clients with the latest version of our in-house model portfolios) Passing clear instructions to carry out any required actions to their administration support team member Investment/Pension product research, which requires a full understanding of product charges and features Comparing fund performance & finding alternative funds available within a contract which is suitable for a client's level of risk Preparing & Implementing Recommendations Requirements Knowledge of investment contracts, including ISA's, OEIC's (Personal Portfolio), Onshore Bonds, Offshore Bonds Must have excellent client communication skills and be highly organised & good attention to detail in their work. Must also be able to work under pressure as it's a busy role Ideally have some industry related exams Familiarity with Intelliflo, Wrap Platforms. FE is also preferred, although not essential Our client is looking for a highly ambitious individual, who enjoys the challenge of a diverse role whilst having an eye for detail. It is also essential that the successful candidate is a team player, committed to the company, has a flexible and thorough approach with the ability to priorities their work.
