Orka Financial is working with a growing events business based in Slough to recruit a French speaking assistant management accountant who will look after the French entity and report into the Financial Controller. The company offers a great working environment with the direct line manager and FD both being very supportive and happy to train the successful individual in any areas that they may need development. Personality fit and French language are key and there can be some flexibility to the level of accounting experience that a candidate has. Job Overview:
• Responsible for the production of timely and accurate management accounts.
• Reporting to the Financial Controller for all financial and accounting activities
• Supporting the FD and FC with ad-hoc projects Key Job

Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts - To prepare a full set of accurate management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet) for PSAV France, Monaco & UAE entities, in line with the month end timetable provided by Head Office - To review these accounts with the FD and FC, and provide analysis and interpretation of the results, including job costings - To assist with the production of reporting packs for US Head Office, including commentary - Maintain Fixed Asset registers - Carry out WIP, accruals, prepayments and depreciation calculations - Post monthly cashbook journals and reconcile banks, along with any other ad-hoc journals - Provide financial information to other departments on request - Liaise with HR staff and local payroll bureau concerning staff and intermittent payroll process, ensuring all costs are accurately posted to the correct GL, and job costing. Deal with any payroll or pension queries when required. - Prepare and submit group VAT returns and intrastat reports, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements. Liaise with local statutory bodies with regards to any queries, and any other ad-hoc statutory requests for information

Salary:
£25,000 - £32,000 benefits
