Reed Finance is recruiting on behalf of a large, well-known FMCG business in central Belfast for a Qualified Management Accountant to undertake a temporary assignment for around 4 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Preparing and reviewing weekly reports; Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts; Preparing and reviewing quarterly stock results; Supporting the production of budgets and forecasts on a quarterly basis; Analysing gross margin and overheads across the different businesses; Working with all departments and the management team to contribute to financial decisions; Liaising with internal/external auditors as required; Essential criteria: Qualified Accountant with at least 1 year's full membership of a professional body e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA; 2 or more years relevant experience; Ability to demonstrate experience in working in a fast-paced environment; Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines; Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business; Good interpersonal skills and ability to explain financial terms simply to non-financial people; Excellent excel skills with experience of developing models and other advanced techniques; A fast learner, open to new ideas and an ability to engage fully with all business operations.
