Role Summary : We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our growing Enterprise team. The role of the Business Analyst will be to work closely with Product Owner, Solution Architect and delivery team to impact and evolve system and process change for all areas affecting Finance, Commercial Finance and People/Payroll systems in a constantly changing Retail environment The Business Analyst will work closely with the Product Owner, Delivery Manager, QA and the development team in an agile environment to ensure that the requirements are clearly defined and agreed so that an effective solution can be developed and tested. The Business Analyst will be expected to follow agile principles and attend ceremonies to enable the delivery of stories in sprints. The role of the Business Analyst will be to support the Enterprise Tribe but also work closely with Product Owners and other business partners in the Finance and People community . The tribe's activities are focused around the delivery and support of Finance/BI/People solutions, but many of those processes dovetail to the broader retail/digital architecture and the role of the Business Analyst will include that X-tribe interaction. What You'll Do: Work closely with the Product Owner and Delivery Manager to define clear user stories reflecting business requirements that add value Understand the business flows, roles and privileges and support any changes Support the definition of the Solution Design incorporating the Business, IT, Technical and external supplier input Support other members of the squad including story writing, defining acceptance criteria, QA and defect management To create any documentation required to deliver change or to enhance the supportability of the service To respond to and support any incidents which are raised relating to the squad To support the end users with training and associated documentation as needed Qualifications Essential Skills Have a good understanding of Finance/Commercial Finance processes in a Retail environment Minimum 2 - 3 years working as a Business Analyst Working to tight deadlines and at pace Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills. The ability to build strong relationships and networks Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills Demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing work priorities. Previous Agile experience is advantageous Knowledge of People/Payroll processes (desirable) Behaviours We Like Team player/ Collaborative Good communication skills Self-motivated and self-starter.
