Interim Group Financial Controller

GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER FOR INTERNATIONAL INSURER BASED IN CENTRAL LONDON

Your new company
Your new company is a large international general insurer. They are a global brand and have a number of different businesses in the UK and internationally. You will be sitting at their London head office.

Your new role
Sitting in their Financial Reporting team you will be responsible for producing the groups consolidated statutory reports on an annual and half yearly basis. You will work with the different finance teams to ensure all results going into the consolidated accounts are accurate. There are a number of commercial projects going on that you will be assisting with alongside providing improvements to reporting processes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with extensive reporting experience within a large complex insurance company. You will either be ACA or ACCA ideally with strong technical knowledge alongside the ability to work closely with both finance and non-finance.

What you'll get in return
This will be an initial 6 month contract with a generous daily rate of £600-800/day dependent on experience. There may be further opportunities in the future given the size of the finance function.
