Role: SENIOR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Vauxhall, London Reporting to: Accounts Payable Manager JOB SPECIFICATION FTSE 250 pan-European real estate investment and asset management company looking to appoint a senior accounts payable to join and support the UK finance team. The successful candidate must be experienced in a similar role. The candidate will be responsible for the following: Core responsibilities Coding, entering and editing invoices on the purchase ledger database (QUBE property & accounting software) Dealing with supplier queries Assisting with internal queries from other departments Preparing and reviewing weekly BACS payment run Processing utility invoices Processing authorized invoices for payment, bank transfers and cheque requests Processing expense claims Supplier statement reconciliations Foreign currency invoice processing and posting Ad hoc accounts duties Essential candidate credentials Previous purchase ledger experience Ability to get things done, accurately, on time, first time High attention to detail Excellent customer service skills Ability to identify time-critical tasks and Good communicator, orally and in writing Good team player with willing to assist the department Proactive, with ability to act on own initiative Commercial awareness Key elements of remuneration package Salary Discretionary bonus Loyalty bonus (two years after the first discretionary bonus) Contributory pension (a 5% employee contribution will be matched by 5% from the Company; the Company's contribution rises to 7.5% after 3 years and to 10% after 5 years) 28 days holiday (three to be taken between Christmas and New Year), plus statutory holidays Private medical and permanent health cover Death-in-service cover £300 annual gym membership contribution
