This is an exciting vacancy that will give the successful candidate full control over their ledger. Although this is a permanent vacancy - Candidates on an immediate notice period are at an advantage. My client requires the skills of somebody who has worked in a fast paced, B2B credit control role. This role will suit somebody who understands and has had exposure to the end to end credit process and has ideally worked within a larger organisation, managing key accounts. Job Description: Effectively manage individual account portfolio Proactively chasing due and overdue debt by telephone, e-mail and letter to ensure cash collection and targets are met Accurate recording of all communication with debtors on the collections management system Identify and escalate potentially high risk accounts Liaising with the customer to effectively manage any sales invoice disputes sales General account housekeeping Ensure; cash allocation, monitoring and maintenance of unallocated cash, credit notes, journals and contra transfers are recorded and kept up to date Credit checking new accounts, updating credit limits as required Monitoring and maintaining current credit limits for existing customers Managing accounts and orders on hold due to credit issues Maintain accurate and up to date customer details Ensure all transactions and actions undertaken are to agreed compliance, legal and audit requirement Completing Month End tasks to accounting timetable Some bank reconciliations and payment allocations work Requirements: Similar experience within an end to end credit control role Proactive and motivated approach Proven track record of recovering aged and current debt Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to work to target in a fast paced role and environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Excel Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Excellent attention to detail Strong computerised systems skills Immediately available candidates are preferable but my client is also willing to consider candidates on a 4 week notice period If you have the skills and experience detailed above and are seeking a new opportunity such as this, I am very keen to speak with you further.
