Description Reporting to Director of Strategy this is a key role in supporting and driving the fast pace of growth in the business through insightful financial analysis. The role will support and assist the Strategy & Business development team with the business modelling activities across the company and may on an ad hoc basis also support the wider finance group. The main focus will be on building and maintaining financial models and conducting scenario analysis. Responsibilities will include specifically: - Develop, maintain and update the company's commercial financial models ensuring quality and consistency of financial modelling - Conduct detailed sensitivity analysis to explore the impact of changes to assumptions (e.g. competitors) - Ensure the arithmetic accuracy, logical integrity, security and control of the financial models - Provide analysis and insight of the financial models for presentation to management - Maintain written documentation and provide training in the use of the financial models - Review and challenge updates on the models' parameters ensuring accuracy of financial projections Qualification, education and experience - Bachelor's degree required in Maths, Statistics or Finance with 2 years of experience in an industrial setting - Advanced Excel skills and ability to present information to enable decision making. - Strong proficiency and accuracy in model building and extracting and analysing data - Specific experience in building financial, commercial and DCF modeless, scenario modelling and Monte-Carlo assessment - Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently - Good attention to detail - able to critically assess data and ensure it is accurate - Good communication skills Preferred skills - Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/85272094
