A large business based in Preston are currently looking for an experienced Sales Ledger / Expense Ledger Clerk to join their team on a contract basis for up to 1 year. This is a great opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager looking at invoicing, reconciliations and VAT. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: Purchase ledger / sales ledger clerk - Producing invoices - Processing expenses - Statement reconciliations - Calculating VAT on invoices - Providing VAT receipts - Setting up new clients Your profile: - You will have previous experience within a similar role - Be available to start work immediately - Have working experience of accounting packages - Previous expense ledger experience would be an advantage In return you will be offered: - 1-year fixed term contract - Training and development - Free onsite parking - £17,000 salary - 22 days holiday plus statutory holidays If you are currently available for work and would be interested in applying for this vacancy, please send your most recent CV or call Pamela Isles for more information.
