Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Team Leader Egham, Surrey £32,000 - £35,000 per annum company benefits My client is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join their growing team in Egham, Surrey on a permanent basis. You will be required to manage the purchase ledger team to effectively deliver compliance and administration requirements. You'll work closely with your team to identify and implement improvements to working methods and processes. The Company My client has been building and managing luxury properties for over 10 years, but their experience in providing high-quality properties and care for older people goes back much further. Over 30 years on, they have grown to be a successful company. Duties include: Train and develop the purchase ledger team Manage holiday and sickness cover for the team Conduct annual performance reviews for the team Ensuring that all supplier accounts are maintained to reflect accurate and up-to-date information Ensure all supplier payments are made in a timely manner Process all necessary transactions within agreed timescales Resolve queries on supplier invoices, internally and externally, including telephone queries Maintain good relationships with suppliers Reconciliation of supplier statements to the creditors ledger at Year End and for key suppliers Ensure period end processes are completed on a timely basis Ensure payments are allocated on the system in a timely manner and follow up on any unallocated payments Control supplier's database Security restrictions i.e. passwords, new suppliers accounts etc You must: Previous experience in a similar role' strong Purchase Ledger knowledge as well as leading/supervising a team IT literate - experience using Purchase Order systems Professional telephone manner Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills It is ideal for this role if you have previously used COINS accounting system, however this isn't essential.
