Job Details
Role Summary:
We are looking for two candidates for the GE Power Conversion Finance team who will have the opportunity to gain expertise in the reporting and accounting of a multinational company. The candidates will work in a medium sized team working across three finance functions; FP&A, Controllership and Project Finance, giving them a truly rounded view of finance in a global organisation.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Reporting of financials on a regular basis
- Prepare and execute manual journal entries
- Participate in quarterly closes
- Drive issue resolution
- Prepare & validate account reconciliations
- Analyse and audit the balance sheet
- Interaction with Business functions on both financial and operational metrics
- Prepare and report operational KPIs
- Variance analysis
- Design, implement and roll out new process
- Time booking analysis and error resolution
- Internal Audit
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduate CIMA or AAT or ACCA Entry level or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Looking to further qualifications through studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar CIMA/ACCA
- Proficient oral and written English
- Comfortable knowledge of basic accounting principles (P&L, Balance Sheet, Debits/Credits, Monthly closure)
- Strong user level MS Office skills (Excel)
- Analytical thinking
- Ability to learn and adapt
- Team player, communicates well
