We’re looking for a Finance Assistant (Apprentice) who enjoys working in a varied role and as part of the team.  The Finance team work alongside the Finance Business Partners and interact with the rest of our employees to help them keep on top of financial matters. Whilst working full time, you’ll get extensive training and we’ll support you in completing your CIMA Certificate Level 4 with the intention to complete the full Level 7 CIMA Qualification.   You’ll be developing your finance and accounting career in a nurturing and open team environment with a professional yet informal working culture.

You’ll have a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and a hunger to learn and develop. You’ll be energetic and confident talking to a range of people.  You’ll have a curious mind-set and seek to understand why we do what we do.  Any Microsoft Office skills are beneficial and we’ll help you to transfer your existing knowledge into a workplace context.

Being part of a fast paced team, you’ll ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner and chase employees and clients when things are outstanding.   You’ll spend time analysing our core business metrics and understanding the profitability of our different teams. Being friendly and enthusiastic, you’ll enjoy liaising with non-financial employees to help them understand the financial impact of their work.

You will have:

• A*-C in English and Maths GCSE
• Full right to work in the UK

Please note that this is a Level 4 Apprenticeship role, therefore we are unable to consider Graduates who studied a finance related degree.

Location – St Katharine’s Docks, London (with travel to our other office in Harrow-On-The-Hill)

Starting salary - £18,000 (with increments every 6 months)

Working hours- 35 hours per week
