Exciting Enterprise Risk Management Officer Opportunity, based in the City of London


A reputable European Investment Bank is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Officer to join their Risk Management department and help implement an effective Enterprise Risk Framework within the Bank.

The Role
The role involves supporting the development and embedding the risk framework, as well as taking day-to-day control of the risk and control register, tracking any updates and actions. You will also be involved in coordinating the risk management committees from an administrative perspective and engaging with the MI and other relevant materials to identify key points to discuss with the Senior Manager. Tracking risk oversight activities against the risk oversight plan and supporting the risk oversight reviews and actions within the bank will also be a key aspect to this role.

You
The successful candidate will need to be able to understand the commercial aspects of the business, and the risks that will arise from the bank's activities, alongside a strong familiarity of risk management concepts and UK regulatory requirements. Strong interpersonal skills will be a key attribute to the successful candidate as you will need to interact with a wide range of profiles and skills within the organisation. You will also need to have a strong proficiency in MS Office packages and English, where Spanish would be advantageous.
